Websters is a family business run by husband and wife team Michael and Ann with the help of their two sons Andrew and Mark. The family have been in business since 1986 when Michael opened their first fish and chip business in Allerton, Bradford.
Enjoying the business so much Michael decided to branch out and in 1994 opened another takeaway shop on the high street in Saltaire – the famous and architecturally beautiful mill village.
In 1999 when Ann joined the business, they sold Allerton, and opened new premises in Baildon, the restaurant currently seats 50 people and has a takeaway – well fish and chips wouldn’t be right unless you could eat them out of the paper sometimes!
“Fish and chips are the family passion, we genuinely care that our fish is responsibly sourced and freshly fried every day for the best fish for our customers to enjoy. We offer a warm welcome to our visitors and aim to cater for all people. We have a “Small Fries” menu, Meal Deals to appeal to families, Over 60s deals and a wide range of dishes to suit every one”.
Every table of diners in our restaurant are asked to fill in a comment card so we know when we get it right and what our customers think we can do differently; and we don’t forget to say “thank you”, if you leave your details and birthday date we send each customer a special birthday gift.
